The Half-written Postcard

CHAPTER-1 There was a postcard that lay in a corner of a dusty shelf all by itself, all summer-long. And it read: march 23 rd , Someone once said, “Sometimes you don’t realize that you are actually drowning when you’re trying to be someone else’s anchor”. Do you think it’s true, Reyansh? Huh! This is yet again one of the hundreds of postcards that I would write to you and not yet post…. Funny how people call it a postcard even when it’s not even posted! I went down to the river yesterday as the snowflakes decided to take their day off for that one single day (it’s up again today). It was 8 in the evening as I stood on the bridge over the river, leaning on one of its beams. The darkness of the night seemed to engulf the dirt of the river and made it look more blissful, just like a shimmering piece of glass, with the reflections of lights of all sorts of colours from grey to deep purple.
